ALCHEMY AS HOMAGE TO METALS
The Alchemy project aims to share histories:
Metal its nature, its substances
and Craftsmen, their processes, their products.
Narrations are melted toghether and emphasized by using contrasts.
ALCHEMY AS TRANS-MUTATION PROCESS
As Parmenides De Rerum Naturae thesis “nothing comes from nothing”, the artwork is both
natural- and artificial-shaped, so that the material’s organic conformations are transformed
into functional objects thanks to the craftsmen’s opus alchemicum.
ALCHEMY AS ATTITUDE, RESEARCH AND RESULT
The Time, which is contracted in a snapshot of past and present according to the shape
and the material, is expressed in the object finishing.
Alchemy is foundry technology based, to make the pieces become “jewels”.
